The only purpose in their life, the only goal of their entire existence, their only chance at survival is keeping the secret. Their lifespan is eternal, unless they can control themselves and they can choose if they want the changing to stop. Mortal or Immortal? As they learn the power of discipline, they have a better chance. Though this takes some time. The wolves and humans are oblivious of their interlacing lives. However the secret is hard to keep to yourself, you cannot control it until you gain the experience. What happens if someone slips? If their control breaks loose? What if ... the code is broken?
