Man-kind's greed has never known bounds. When a scientist discovers the cure for the national epidemic, AIDS, citizens flock to medical centers, to receive the cure, or the vaccination. Only months later, Man-kind is reduced to a cannibalistic, apparantly mindless, killing machine, rocked back to it's primal state of savagery. And now, any surviving uninfected humans have been obliterated.
Welcome to Seattle, Washington, 2013. The "Savage Ones", the mindless, infected humans, are desperate for another food source. They've turned to Man's Best Friend. The dogs, confused and frightened because of their masters' betrayal ( for that is the only thing they understand ), are now in the crosshairs. But Dogs still have many of their own instincts left, unlike the humans. They still have teeth, and they still have claws. They still have the means to fight back if necessary.
Can the dogs overcome the beast that used to occupy the highest seat in the foodchain? Is there a future for them that is bright? Or will they follow the humans into a pit of despair, mindlessness, or death?
