Vash had wandered through the sunny, or that's how it seemed to him, and upbeat park. All of those who came here to play... Who owned dogs, who played with them... Who kept them as pets; companions. Those who threw balls and made the dogs...or should he say, convinced, the dogs to chase after them. The mongrels didn't seem to need much persuasion. And so that brought Vash back a bit.
It brought Shadowfang back to just how much he despised the humans...
His paws crunched absently upon some leaves that had fallen and drifted asunder onto the ground around him in their time. Things that no longer lived. He didn't really care much for plants and trees, they were good for scent alone... He didn't need them for tracking. His senses served that purpose well enough.
Speaking of trees though, the one he was sitting underneath provided the perfect cover from the flaming hot Sun's rays, despite it's branches being almost devoid of leaves. The winter season was good to Vash...but he still did not like even the little sun that appeared int eh winter. The cold weather only seemed to intensify the sun's rays. He raised his head up as he sat underneath the oak's branches on his haunches. He did so in a movement close to what he would do if he was howling, his pristine coat shining in the shadows that encircled him. He stared up at the lofty-- empty-- canopy above him, not really thinking about anything.
He then yawned wide, showing his nearly white perfectly sharp teeth. He had taken a lot of care and effort to get to where he was...In physical appearance and overall. It had taken him a few years, but it was worth the sacrifice; he had decided that long ago.
He lowered his muzzle again and watched the scene going on around him in the park. Whether anyone would notice him was up for question. But he didn't think they would...Humans were too blind and Dogs had too much fun doing idiotic things... They wouldn't notice a black wolf in the shadows...
Especially not under a tree that was surrounded by a clearing on every side....
Oh no...they'd never see him...
He allowed a small smirk to come to his muzzle.

.::The wind is mildly nippy, for it is winter time what leaves that are left on the tree begin to fall down to the ground. The browness dotted around you. In the distance there are children playing with there dogs. Most are definately not paying attention to you at hand. But if one were to get loose then there would be the hitch of the year for you. And as the fates would have it, there was one. A small pamaranian (I think thats how there spelled.) fluffy yapping dog came wandering into your path. Now was the time to make a decision::.

Shadowfang had but a moment to register what was happening before the walking fluff-ball came toward him. That little thing made his day. He would teach the humans to keep better care of their pets...to keep a better eye out for them.
The dog had decided to come up to him. It had made a choice...and now he would make his. He stood slowly, savoring the small tension that he was putting on his muscles, ones that he hadn't used in quite a while.
He would show the world that no one would be allowed to mess with him...especially not some little fluffy human play thing.
When the dog got within a few feet, Shadowfang let loose a snarl and leaped at the dog, with the intent to ravage it beyond identification.

.::The dog side steps you and continues to bark. It then runs around you and begins to snarl back in the way a little dog would. Its yips are loud and ear piercing. It evades you this turn, but question is could it evade you forever...::.

The little pathetic noises that the fluff-ball was making made his ears sore. He wished the little thing would shut-up...but he didn't really need a wish..He would do it himself. The small animal had evaded him once...but Shadowfang was rusty...it had been a while since he had hunted.
He growled and turned with the dog. He would see its end...right here, right now. He took a step toward it and then sprung at it again.
The fluff-ball had irked him for the last time...

.::The little dog saw his coming and bit down on your nose. Its little teeth dug in deeply. It growled the best that it could. And its watered down language could not be understandable to wolven ears. But to translate it said. "You smelly beast your not wanted here! Get out get out!" Though in due time its attempts would be useless. But for now it was holding steady. You better hope that re-enforcements don't arrive.::.

Shadowfang would have yelped in pain, but he was conditioned not to...and he would not show weakness to this little miniature excuse for a dog. How the little thing had managed to get a hold on his nose, he didn't know...but the dog would soon receive his end of the bargain...blood for blood...and Shadowfang vowed that he would do much worse then bite the other dog's nose.
The advantage that the little thing gave him was simple... Shadowfang had the advantage of size and strength... He would now use this to his advantage...
The dog wanted to bite his nose? Well... He would break the other's body. He moved his head around, moving the dog closer to him as the fluff-ball hung onto his nose.
Shadowfang bared the pain silently...his revenge would be enacted soon enough. When the dog was close enough, he moved both of his fore-paws to the dogs back, intending to crush the dog as it desperately tried to hold onto Vash's nose.

.::It yelps loudly and lets your nose go. You are able to get a hold of the dog in your grasp but its yelps had already alerted others. You better work quickly before they get to where you are.::.[/b]

Shadowfang winced as the dog let go of his nose. A few small red marks showed the price of what Vash had done...the fluff-ball had done a little damage to his nose.... He would repay the favor. He was aware of others coming... His ears had alerted him to that. But he would finished what he started.
As he held the little mutt down, he bit into the small animals side and ripped, tearing a junk out of the fluff-ball's side. The wonderful taste of the small creatures blood ran across his tongue and down his throat as he swallowed. He let go of the piece he had torn, the fur nearly covering up the small bit of flesh he had torn off of the small dog.
He grinned malevolently and then reached down again, aware of the other's coming closer. He gripped the dog's neck in his jaws and crunched down, breaking the creatures spinal cord.
His work done, Shadowfang looked up and backed away from the small animal, licking his lips.
He was prepared for the others.... He could envision their reactions when they saw their little dog...

.::The dog was a one that a rich owner had let unbeknowingly loose in the park. It was the dogs own fault it lay dead at your paws. But the others were now definately close to you. It was a street pack of misfits that had heard the call. Most are as big as you and they are in numbers. You have two choices stand and fight the oncoming strays or run and save yourself some pain and strife. There are 7 in the stray group. What will you do?::.
OOC: Your evil wolf is so awesome. He reminds me of a wolf on one of my rpgs. Unfortunately its under reconstruction right now and the rp's aren't up. But once its finished it will be back up for business.

Shadowfang wouldn't purposely fight a losing battle... He could easily have fought them, and there was a slim chance that he could possibly succeed... But he wasn't willing to take that chance...
He wasn't willing to get his pelt dirty...
He gave a wolf-wink to the 7 and turned around quickly and sprinted off, going at a nice and steady stride, not bothering to run full out.
If they caught up...the more fun the merrier....

.::The pack of 7 is fastly approaching you. As you continue to run you come upon two choices. First one is a chain link fence that leads into an alley. Next to the fence are a few scattered wobbly boxes. The second option is a street crossing with a light. The road is very busy and the light does not stay green very long. But you will have to make a choice quickly for the dogs are fastly approaching. If they were any closer you would be able to feel there breath on your fur.::.[/b]

Shadowfang had to make a choice.... An easy one for most... Who would choose the road anyway? Hop the fence, right?
He shook his head as he ran, no where to go. At least nowhere that he wanted to go. He knew from experience just how unsafe it was crossing the street...but at least he was facing a danger he could see... The alley could be a dead end or there could be something much worse there then what was following him.
So... He came to the decision that crossing the street was better. As he got to the street, the light turned to red, which he used to make a giant leap across the street, trying to get across before any of the cars started up again...
He wouldn't notice any cars coming even if there were...he was too focused on getting away from the dogs... He doubted that they would follow him...and even if they did, they would get a green light to hinder them with.

.::You manage to cross the street with little to no difficulty, just before the light changes again to green you land on the other side. The dogs still smell your trail though. So they still are going to try and follow. They realize that they can't cross yet but they will be back on the trail again once the light re-changes. There is a side walk now to your left you can go down. A sidewalk straight in front of you. And the cross walk again to your right. You can take one of the the two sidewalk paths, cross the street to the right, or go back the way you came and face the oncoming dogs. ::.[/b]

Shadowfang didn't know how much time he had, so he made a quick decision as he stopped there on the corner of the two streets. He glared down the open paths with distaste.
Although he had no doubts that he could outrun the dogs, it would give them an easier way to follow him.
Thus, he decided to venture across the now halted side of the street. Due to his maneuvering, he had managed to get across the street before the street had just crossed started moving..now that they had started, the ones on this other street had to stop...
Grinning, Vash quickly padded onto the street, planning to cross again.
