Though everything appears normal from the outside, not everything is as it seems. There are some people who are different from normal human beings. They each have different powers; one might have super-strength, and another might have superspeed. These people are usually called different things: mutants or gifted.
These gifted are either using their powers for evil, good, or just trying to stay out of the whole thing. Either way, they sometimes have to fight each other, and it usually doesn’t turn out very good. Some normal people do notice that something wrong has happened, though they usually dismiss it as nothing.
Though most humans don’t know about their existence, the government does. Along with keeping their existence a secret and protecting themselves from other mutants, the gifted also have to protect themselves from the government, who are trying to capture them for their own personal gain, whether for use as weapons or for experiments.
As time goes on and even more strange things are happening, humans are beginning to see the gifted for what they really are. Most of them don’t like the gifted and want to get rid of them, though there are some that actually don’t mind having them around.
What will happen when things begin to become worse? Will the gifted survive or will they be killed?
