Name: Luna Nyx
Gender: Female
Age: 1 year
Alliance: Good
Breed: Wolf
Blood:
Location: -
Appearance: Luna has a pure white pelt covering her entire body. Her body build is lean and feminine but sturdy. Her optics are a vivid light blue with a silvery sheen covering the surface. Her pawpads are silver and has a light coating of dark blue on them. Most times her fur is long and soft but during the summer it shortens and becomes a little bit more coarse.
Personality: Luna is like any pup and loves to explore with her always growing curiosity. Her will to learn overcomes any feeling of not being able to accomplish something. Her general personality is kind, gentle and forgiving like her mother, but when someone or something is close to her she can easily become protective and aggressive like her father. You could always catch her in a uplifting mood but once you piss her off her true anger shows and can be surprising to most wolves. Her friendship is easy to earn but once it is taken advantage of it is hard to earn back. Her ability to love is strong and once she has attached to someone that she cares for deeply, she would do anything to keep them happy as well as comfortable. Her mind works like most young pups and it’s hard to keep her attention for a while unless you apply some meaning or game into it. This only changes when she’s hunting though. Once she’s in the hunting setting, her mind then starts to work like a clock work. Analyzing every movement like a math equation. Breaking down each element until there is only one answer left. She’s learned this through watching others and can copy movements down to each millisecond. But once Luna’s out of this stage she then returns to her motherly caring side.
History:
Luna was separated from her birth pack at a very young age. She ran with a huge pack, both her parents were alpha's and controlled the pack with a 'tight leash' so to speak but with respect. Her father was very protective and aggressive, but had a kind side to him hidden to most wolves, and her mother was forgiving and gentle. There was times when both her parents had to put their life’s on the line for the protection of her pack because of the fact her pack had many rival packs or as they would call them, traitors or also known as 'Black bloods'.
She would usually play with the other pups in the pack along with her older brother, Koda. Since her parents were usually busy Koda watched after her most of the time which only tightened their bond as brother and sister. But one day that bond was finally cut…
It was a hot summer day when everyone was out on a hunting trip. The sun was beating down on Koda who was lying at the entrance of the den. The den was nothing more than a hollow rock cave at the base of a mountain. As usual Luna was to stay in the den and wait until someone came back, as every pup should. Eventually she got bored so she wandered past her sleeping brother outside and into the woods as she did many times before with her father. She didn’t get far when she started to hear snarling and yelping coming back from then den. It seemed that one of the rival packs formed with another one to overthrow hers. She ran back as quickly as she could only to witness as her mother and father were being killed during the fight. Not only them but half. well...most of her pack as well...
At the end of the fight, the rest of her pack moved on but her brother stayed behind. He was hurt badly but cared for her and protected her for as long as he could. He always promised her he wouldn't let anything happen to her as long as he was alive. Well...this wasn’t long... He passed away when she was about 9 months old. She learned how to hunt and forage for food as she got a bit older. Luna became stronger and more independent. Alot of the time she would get hurt, beaten and came near to death as hunters tried to kill her with all sorts of traps.
Auditioning Post: It had been just a little over a week since Koda's death, and on such a particular day that she longed for the comfort of her once close family, Luna could not take her mind away from him. Wind whistled through her long fur, billowing it about her face as she plodded in the direction she had thought she had seen Torak go earlier. There was a very good chance that Nova had gone there and left already, or have not gone there at all, but the female longed for her friends company. If it took seeking out someone who may or may not be where she thought she was, then so be it. Flicking an ear against the snow fluttering less than gracefully upon the gusts of wind, Luna peered toward the sky with squinted eyes.
"Koda. . . You know I didn't mean to. . . Let you die, right?" She had been asking that to no one since just after his death, finding no response to be given. It was a hope to be forgiven; she still blamed herself for not trying to control her emotions better...then maybe she wouldn't have been so frozen in place. Deep within her very being, Luna knew there was nothing she, a pup of only seven months at the time, could have done that her brother had not tried to do. Why she took the blame on herself, she supposed she would never know. Regardless of the lack of logic behind it, she still carried the weight of his death on her shoulders, and they were growing weak.
Torak was gone, another thing that Luna knew. She silently prayed that it wasn't true, but in fact, the signs were there. His scent no longer lingered near the dens unless she sought it out, and no one had seemed to have seen him for months. He had to be alive somewhere, she reasoned, but that would mean that he had chosen to leave without saying a word to his family. And it's down to me and Nova alone together, once again, she thought almost bitterly, the strong smell of salt water hitting her flared nostrils. When they were young pups, she and Nova had been nearly inseparable. Time had passed and they drifted away from one another slightly, but now it was just her and Nova once again.
Despite her somber mood, Luna could not help the small smile that spread over her ebony lips at the sight of Kage standing alone on the beach. She approached silently, though not in any way to hide the sound of her steps, stopping when she reached her brothers friend. Moments passed as she stood next to the larger wolf in silence, staring out at the gray harbor, before she spoke, her tone soft, wondering. "What happened to us?" she asked, though the question was rhetorical. It wasn't even a particularly straight forward question; it related to everything and anything, and required no answer. . . If there even was an answer for such a question...
