Eternal applying for: Life.
Reasons for applying: I'd like to try roleplaying a purely good hearted character. I tend to play the darker and more mysterious creatures. Life would also be a nice contrast in comparison to my other character, Shaitan, who is opposite of her.
Why should we give this part to you? : I'd like to apply for this role because I'm a dedicated roleplayer - in fact, I only roleplay on this site and I'm not joining any other sites in the near future. You can count on me to be active with this role, as well as build it and make it into a great character.
I've also had a lot of experience roleplaying many different kinds of animals (hawks, horses, wild cats, dragons..ect) so I'm relatively versatile. I'm also not a 'perfectionist'. I don't set out to roleplay the perfect character. I like making them interesting and real by adding flaws and quirks to make them memorable.
How many years have you rped?: Four, but I did take a break from it for about a year, so closer to three.
Are you active: ? And how often are you on?(be honest!): Since I'm only roleplaying on this site, I'm on every day. I don't always have time to post, but I do check up on my threads. I'll always alert the admin of my absences.
Will you be active in the future: Of course.
What can you personally bring to the life of the character?: As I mentioned earlier, I prefer to make my characters quirky and memorable. Everyone, including powerful immortals, makes mistakes and has a unique personality. I plan to make life a fun, light hearted being, but possibly impulsive and quick to jump to conclusions. She will be highly enthusiastic and full of life, but her eagerness to jump on new and unfamiliar things may cause her to mess up once or twice.
Audition Post:
To the world around her, she was only a beautiful girl. Her youthful eyes sparkled with a radiant and striking sapphire, framed by expressive, slanted brows and perched on creamy cheekbones. Her hair was warm brown, lit up by brilliant undertones of hot copper. Her lips were pale rose petals upon her delicate face, showcasing a mouthful of smooth, white teeth. She was petite in stature, but moved with a lithe grace much like a cat. The jaws of men hit the pavement as she swept by, her gait more of a dance than a walk. Yes, she was beautiful.
But it didn't matter to her. Wouldn't you be beautiful too if you could choose your shape? To Life, the world offered far more exquisite treasures. Like the first, fluttering heartbeats of a newborn child, or the tender green of spring's first shoots. Or perhaps the delicate flakes of snow that swirled across the cold sky on the first day of winter. The world was a wonderful place far beyond what lay on a pretty face
This is exactly where I want to be. She reveled for the very moment she was living. She lifted her delicate palms towards the sunshine, feeling the balmy rays kiss her skin. She turned to the wind, so she could feel it whip through her thick, coppery tresses and sail into her lungs. Nothing could be better. To anyone else, it was just an open field, perhaps where someone used to graze their cattle. A rusted, old barbed wire fence snaked around the abandoned property which contained nothing more than grazing land and a few gnarled old apple trees. But to Life, it was a wonderful cornucopia of discoveries and opportunities.
A field like this was the best place for only one being. Life closed her azure eyes slowly, lowering her sun kissed palms. Her heart galloped and her mind swirled. Tremors raced up her spine as her form began to twist and change. Her body arched and curved, darkening in colour and acquiring a shimmery copper hide. Her slender neck lengthened and her limbs reached out. Her soft fingernails hardened and grew into sturdy hooves. A silky mane of thick tresses sprouted from her lengthened neck. Lastly, her face changed into that of a little Arabian horse - small tapered ears, warm, intelligent eyes, and a velvety maw no larger than a tea cup.
She tossed her wild, shimmering locks glittering in the suns rays. A shrill whinny shattered the silence in the air as she lunged forward into a powerful gallop, her lengthy tail flagged in the breeze. Her slender legs were a blur beneath her petite frame, accompanied only by the drum of hoofbeats against soft soil. Her paper thin nares drank the summery air rushing into her lungs, easing the burn from her newly shaped equine muscles. The burn that made her feel alive and real. As soon as the toothy barbed wire fence was visible, she slowed, curving her sleek neck and snorting softly, feeling her heart speed, spreading the excitement throughout her foreign self. For many, something such as a sprint would be taken for granted, but she knew there was more to it. The challenge of pushing the body to its limits, savouring the taste of speed created by the flesh and blood of your very own body - it was beautiful, just like every other moment of each and every day, whether wasted of treasured. The key is so very simple; beauty can be found in the smallest and simplest of things. It just needs to be found.
