Character: Tori West
Element applying for: Energy
Reasons for applying: I think it would be really fun and interesting to play an elemental, and I've always felt particularly attracted to elements such as energy and spirit. Since someone's already applied for a spirit elemental, however, I decided to try out for Energy. :3
Why should we give this part to you?: I really think I could pull all of the fun stuff out of the energy elemental, and make her fun and interesting to role play with. I really believe I could do her justice if I was given the part. Since I've always liked and understood (to however much you can understand) energy, I think I could portray that elemental in a positive way.
How many years have you rped?: Probably about two and a half years now. I don't really keep track.
Are you active? And how often are you on?(be honest!): I try to get on at least once every day, when schoolwork doesn't get in the way. On weekends I usually check a lot more than once.
Will you be active in the future: Sure, when I don't have homework out the yin-yang. :3
What can you personally bring to the life of the character?: I could make her, well, energetic. ^^ The character I created is already a very vivacious and lively character, and I think those are good qualities for an energy element. If I had the energy elemental, I would give her a real spice for life. Since I usually only like to role play energetic characters, I've gotten pretty good at that sort of thing.
Audition Post: Tonight was a night where the city was anything but quiet. The streets were thronged with people wearing bright colors and waving colorful flags. Everyone shouted greeting to everyone else, and people were dancing in the streets to the music that floated off of the sidewalks. Tori melted into the crowds around her, feeling the air thrumming with energy. She had forgotten what holiday these people were celebrating; she didn't remember or speak the language in which they sang and talked. It was just another celebration in another foreign country.
But she reveled in it.
Tori loved in when people were this active. Day after day, she spend her time in cities with masses of lethargic people. They had no energy, no spice. With people like this, she could practically taste the energy that pulsed in the air. She loved it. She loved energy. She was energy.
She wove her way through the surging masses of bodies, feeling the energy levels around her. It was positive, all positive. Even better. Tori liked positive energy better than negative; if felt more like her character. Her palms tingled and glowed faintly gold-colored and she fed off the energy in the air around her. She closed her eyes and grinned, seeing in her minds eye the threads of whitish gold that laced the air around and above the crowds. In the picture in her mind, she was a beacon of swirling gold and purple, positive and negative.
She was an elemental.
