Alex stood out on the borders of the vast unclaimed area. He thought, I wonder what potential this has? He decided to enter and see what he could find. If it was a good area he might stay. Alex took off in a dash running across the field. He ran with incredible speed covering lots of area in a matter of minutes. Looking out he saw an area he thought was an ok area for a den. He ran for the area. Then, he stopped suddenly noticing something, in the distance. It turned out it was just a deer but Alex was starving so he waited patiently for the right moment to attack. The deer moved closer and closer not noticing him. Then, at the right moment, he pounced on the deer.

.::Since it was the season of winter, the deer's senses were on high alert. Before you could touch it, it scurried away causing you to land on the hard ground. This caused some pain to your front-left ankle. Though luckily the fawn nearby remained oblivious after its mother ran, the wind might pick up though soon so beware. It grazed spastically from being so hungry, it would be a nice meal if you could only catch it ...::.

Well there wasn't many choices he could make. He already lost the mother but her fawn was nearby and hadn't moved. Alex was hungry so his senses were a bit down. But he was sure he could catch a fawn. Alex began to sneak behind the deer. Luckily the grass was a little tall so he shouldnt have much trouble getting to the fawn. It just depended on how quick the fawn reacted. He kept coming, closer and closer finally he was about ten feet from the fawn. He thought for a second and decided to bite down on its leg so it couldn't run because he was exhausted from hunger. So he got a little closer and then lunged forward goin for the fawns front leg.

.::As you crept forward, the fawn's head shot up with his auds perked in your direction. It was aware you were there and continued to stay alert. Your lunge made it burst into a run, though your teeth deeply sink into its front leg. You are able to feel the bone, and your grasp is unbreakable. The fawn kicks swiftly and screams, kicking you in the rib. It might be punctured a bit. The scream fades to a moan while its strength is weakened, its breathing is almost to a hault. Though it continues to suffer, the throat is the best choice to bring it down. ::. [/center]

He held his grip tight on the fawns leg. Alex was afraid to let go becuase the fawn might run. But the fawn might have punctured his rib, but he wasn't sure. His only chance was to bite down onto its neck. He waited until the fawns squirms were not so violent and realeased his grip and quickly went for the neck.

.::The weakened fawn's eyes were one of pain and dispair, that in which some wolves might enjoy. Others? Not so much. His moaning faded, and it phased into a whisper as your fangs dug into her throat. The fawn's eyes closed and his body went limp, he was now in peace. Your hunt was successful.::.
