Long ago, in Colorado, a family enjoys a night playing in the snow. Shots ring out in the distance. Then, a young girl watched her family get burned, shot. Off she runs, into the woods to turn into something that lets her escape: a wolf.
Vivian Gandillon had always played by her own rules.She wasn't like the other wolves in her pack. She wanted a normal life, to be able to live like a human. One day, she met Aiden, a starving artist from the States. As their relationship developed, Gabriel, leader of the pack, tried to stop them. The result was the dead body of his son and Vivian's cousin, Rafe.
Gabriel went after her and was also killed. Aiden and Vivian escaped to Paris, where they had two happy years of a semi-normal life. Then the news came: a new leader was coming to take over Gabriel's pack. Now they're coming after Vivian. Will she be able to protect herself, or will she finally be killed?
